The Nations Are Yours!

Lord, You told Abraham, in Genesis 22:17-18 that You would multiply his descendants as the stars of the heaven and sand as on the seashore.  And that in his seed, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed.  So, we stand on Psalm 2:8, which says, “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.” 

Lord Jesus, it’s Your desire for all nations to receive You as their Savior and Lord; therefore, You speak to the unsaved and change their hearts as only You know how to do (1 Timothy 2:4).  Touch their eyes and ears to be open to the gospel of Jesus Christ, the only true God, bringing them to repentance and confessing Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Romans 10:9).  Lord, let the light of Jesus shine to those who sit in darkness, bringing them hope and restoration (Matthew 5:14).   All spirits of deception, lies, confusion, false gods and idols are bound in the name of Jesus, that have a hold on the unsaved nations.  And in the name of Jesus, clarity, truth, and freedom will now be over those nations (Matthew 16:19). Lord, may those who have a heart for the nations pray without ceasing, giving thanks, and standing in the gap for the unsaved (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, Ezekiel 22:30).  

Lord, send laborers into Your fields because they are already white for harvest (John 4:35).  Let a great wave of revival sweep over the nations like You have caused to happen in times past.  All nations will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).   Thank You for hearing this prayer for the nations.  In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
