The Nations Are Yours: Holland

 Holland is a small country located in western Europe that borders Belgium, Germany, and France. 

Holland is known for its windmills, tulips, cheese, and chocolates.  It is a thriving European country with a strong export capital in areas such as engine and mechanical equipment, natural gas products, health equipment, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, fertilizers, and biotechnology products.  Holland is highly developed in crops, animal agriculture, and greenhouse agriculture.  Because some areas of Holland are 27 feet below sea level, constant drainage is necessary to maintain land reclamation.  Holland is one of the most unreligious countries in the world, where 67% do not profess any religious beliefs.

Lord, Your word says that, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37. So we pray right now and confess that Your Spirit will move across Holland, touching hearts, and causing eyes and ears to be opened to the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

We pray for those who feel they have no need of God because they say, “I am rich; I have acquired wealth, and do not need a thing,” to turn and come, seeking You, for the forgiveness of their sins, because they suddenly realize they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Revelations 3:17.  

Lord, we pray that You send laborers into Holland who will share with boldness the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and ask those they encounter if they would like to make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  We believe and thank You ahead of time, God, for the great and effective door that You have opened in Holland because the fields are white for harvest. John 4:35 Thank You, Jesus, for all that You are doing in Holland.  Amen.
