World Wide Prayer

Psalm 24:1-2 say, “The earth is the LORD’S, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters.”  Lord, I thank You for creating this beautiful earth and all its inhabitants. That each continent was uniquely designed by You and filled with people who are made in Your image, and yet different from each other.   Thank You, God, that You have a special purpose and plan for each of us no matter where we live. 

ASIA: We pray for Asia, as it is the most populated continent on earth, comprising 60% of the total population.   Flood the streets and alley ways of Asia with Your Holy Spirit.  Let it be like water that runs and cannot be stopped, for whoever the Spirit touches shall be changed.

AFRICA: Even though the continent of Africa has the world’s largest desert, Africa shall rejoice and bloom as the rose, having streams in the desert and fountains in the valleys.  Isaiah 35:1,6; 41:18.  Thank You, Lord, for the people in Africa who are filled with the Holy Spirit, bringing living waters to those who are thirsty for the gospel of Jesus Christ,

NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA: Like a fire hydrant that sprays refreshing water on those who are weary, continue to pour out Your Holy Spirit on North and South America watering the prayers of those who cry out for revival.  Open the flood gates of heaven and saturate these lands causing many to turn to the Lord for salvation. 

EUROPE: May the seeds of the Reformation that was sown on good ground years ago throughout Europe, bring forth a harvest of souls for the kingdom of God.  And we bind any attempts of the devil to steal the word of God from those who have already heard the gospel of Jesus Christ preached.  The cares of this world will not cause the word of God to become unfruitful in their lives.  Matthew 13:22.

AUSTRALIA: Prepare the hearts of the people in Australia to receive the Lord Jesus so that the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings.  Malachi 4:2.  “Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”  Isaiah 40:3.  Send laborers to Australia as the fields are white for harvest.  John 4:35.

ANTARCTICA: Lord, we lift-up those who work in Antarctica.  Though they may be far from family and friends, they are not alone for You said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  Hebrews 13:5.   Fill them with the knowledge of Your presence as they do research.  Let the fire of the Holy Spirit hover over them and keep them warm.

Thank You, Lord, for all that You are doing in each of these continents.  “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”  Habakkuk 2:14
