May 7th is the National Day of Prayer to mobilize unified public prayer for America. The 2026 theme is "Glorify God Among the Nations - Seeking Him in All Generations. "Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples." 1 Chronicles 16:24. The event, established by Congress in 1952, seeks to bring communities together to pray for healing and wisdom. People are encouraged to gather at local, state, and national government buildings, churches, and public spaces to pray for revival and unity.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your presence and turning our eyes back to You. Your Word says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Lord, we stand on this promise today.
Father, forgive us where we have strayed. Cleanse our hearts, renew our minds, and draw us back into alignment with Your will. Let righteousness rise and truth prevail in our lives, our homes, and throughout our nation.
We pray for our leaders, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks after You. Guide their decisions so they reflect justice, integrity, and truth.
Lord, we lift up every family, every community, and every person who is hurting, lost, or in need. Remind them of Your love and Your promise in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” Draw them close and reveal Yourself to them.
Strengthen Your people, Father. Let us rise in faith, walk in obedience, and be bold in sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Fill us with Your peace and power so we may be a light in the darkness.
We declare that You are still on the throne, and there is nothing beyond Your reach. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. All glory, honor, and praise belong to You, Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name! Amen. 🙏❤️
