But God...

GOD is in control! One day last week my daughter was taken to the ER because she was severely anemic and needed a blood transfusion. The problem is, she is severely allergic to iron. She cannot tolerate iron infusions or any other iron supplements. The last time she received a blood transfusion we almost lost her and for months afterwards we had some close calls. So, the day at the hospital was a nightmare - BUT GOD...
I texted all my prayer warrior first, letting them know what was happening, and asked for prayer. Then I let my children know, and asked them for prayer. I drove to the hospital and laid my hands on her and prayed, "Lord, let her body receive the blood transfusion without any complications or setbacks in Jesus’s Mighty Name."
My daughter said, “Amen.” Then we waited for the procedure. I went to the lobby to pray and thank God for what He was going to do. After waiting for hours, the procedure was finally done.
Thanks be to God who hears and answers our prayers! There were no complications or any setbacks from the blood transfusion. The doctors kept her another hour for observation, but my daughter and I know who was really watching over her – The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!
“This is the day that the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
