Glory to God!

Christmas is a time of giving.  We give gifts to family, friends, and neighbors.  But the biggest gift that was given, was from God Himself to mankind. Jesus Christ came to reconcile man back to God through His birth.  John 3:16 say, “For God so loved the world, that HE GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

CHRISTMAS GIFT BAGS: This Christmas, several people helped prepare and deliver food gift bags to the less fortunate, the homeless, and those in need.  They were not to be forgotten on this Christmas day.

Placed inside each bag was an apple, orange, chips, dessert, water bottle, a sandwich, a GOD STORIES book with a rack card, along with a New Testament Bible, (English or Spanish), and a $5.00 bill.

We drove around the streets of Harlingen, TX, asking the Lord to show us who He wanted us to give the bags to.  We delivered bags to families with children, a recovering alcoholic, a woman just released from jail, a homeless man with 7 dogs, an elderly couple, and a man who just wanted to talk and tell us his story.

We prayed with the different people, asking God to intervene in each of their situations.  All were appreciative of the gift bag they received, and that somebody cared about them. 

Who has the Lord brought across your path so that you can share Jesus Christ with them?

“As you have done it to one of the least of these My brethren,

you did it to Me.”  Matthew 25:40.
