It's Never Outdated!

From personal experience, I can admit that when I was away from God, I felt scattered abroad, a stranger, and not belonging anywhere. And then, I began looking to the world to fill that void, because I felt I needed to feel a part of something. But the world never truly provided that.
Then there is this promise in the Bible in Nehemiah 1:8-9, that if I repent and sought the Lord and was obedient to His word, I would be welcomed into the family of God. And guess what, a sense of belonging filled my heart. The empty void in my life became filled, and I was now part of something bigger and greater. I was part of the family of God. And nothing the world could offer, can or will ever compare to that.
This promise, even though it is an Old Testament promise, was fulfilled and reaffirmed by Christ and is available to anyone who truly desires that sense of belonging. I don’t know where you’re at spiritually, but if you’re feeling lost, empty, or scattered, repent because the Lord Jesus Christ, is waiting to welcome you home.
“Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, ‘If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations: But if ye turn unto me, and keep
my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part
of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place
that I have chosen to set my name there.’” Nehemiah 1:8-9
