Just Two Minutes Of Your Time!

While on a business trip, the man next to me on the airplane was opening up and telling me how his life was a mess and was going nowhere. I asked him if I could take two minutes and share with him how my life was once in a similar condition, and what I did. He said, “Yes!” 

I began by telling him that sometimes we don’t know what we need or what is missing in our lives.  I explained that we need a way out of or through the mess we’re in. We need the truth about the way things are or could be if our lives are to change.  I asked him if he believed in the Bible and thought Jesus Christ was truthful and trustworthy. He responded, “Yes!”  I opened my briefcase, took out my Bible, and turned to John 14:6 and showed him where Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”  “So, you believe this?”, I asked. He responded,” Yes.”  I then asked if I could lead him in a prayer that represented his heart’s desire. As I prayed, he prayed in agreement as well. This is one of the many testimonies of my sharing Christ with others. I’ve discovered that opportunities present themselves almost on a daily basis. 

“For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.”

 Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.  2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT
