National Day of Prayer -- May 1, 2025

Heavenly Father,

On this National Day of Prayer, we come before You as one nation under God, humbling ourselves, seeking Your face, and crying out for Your mercy and guidance.

Your Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 declares, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Lord, we stand on that promise today.

Forgive us where we’ve strayed, where we’ve allowed division, corruption, and pride to take root. Cleanse our hearts and restore righteousness in our homes, churches, government, and communities. Raise up godly leaders, truth-bearers, and warriors of light to stand firm in this hour.

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit across our land. Let revival sweep through every city, from the smallest town to the nation’s capital. Let every knee bow and every heart turn back to You.

Strengthen the weary, comfort the grieving, and provide for those in need. Protect our children, heal our sick, and awaken our churches. We ask for divine intervention, justice where there’s been injustice, and unity where there’s been division.

Let America bless You again, Lord. May we honor You not just in word, but in truth, spirit, and action.

We declare today that Jesus is Lord over this nation, and we place our full trust in You.
