Sometimes, God gives me dreams. Sometimes, He puts people on my heart. Recently, I could not stop thinking of one of my family members. They emailed me the same week! Later that same week, I kept thinking about one of my husband's family members. I felt as if I needed to mail one of these GOD STORIES booklets of God Stories to each of them. I do not know if either of them has accepted Jesus as their Savior.
As I was contemplating, the story of Lazarus and the rich man came to mind. In Luke 16, Jesus shared the parable of the rich man and Lazarus dying. The rich man went to Hell and asked Abraham to allow Lazarus to warn his family of the reality of Hell. All I could think is that I have the opportunity to use this GOD STORIES booklet to share the good news. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to convict and convince them that Heaven and Hell are real. Each person must choose Jesus or reject Jesus as Savior. If I can throw someone a lifeline while there is still time, why wouldn't I? I obeyed the Lord and mailed each person a booklet.
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16
